hip hip hooray!!

Thanks to my nifty tax return that appeared today I was able to get a camera. I went to costco and bought the canon eos rebel xti. That's right! Plus it cam with a 50mm and a 200mm lens and a uv filter 2 batteries and a 1 gig memory card but we bought a 40 gig . It also came with a nice bag. I am in heaven. I also got a vacuum. Because mine wouldn't turn on today. It's a goner.
So it is a happy day. However now I am really tired and have a messy house which I am having a baby shower in tomorrow.

Day after V Day...

DJ did it! I had a great Valentines Day! He bought mew roses from Costco (exactly where I would want them from) Why you ask they are beautiful and inexpensive. I got my wedding flowers there. He also bought me 2 candles. The soybean yummy candles. My favorite and I have been wanting some new ones. They were 50%off!!! I am a happy girl. He made valentines bags for the kiddos. lol After Lucas told him he wanted a Valentine. Very cute! I went to the store to get some stuff for dinner and bought the kids some balloons. I swear those kids are the happiest with balloons lol.
I made dinner. I made my first lasagna bolognase. DJ said that is one of his favorites. Plus he made me lasagna for our 1st valentines day. I invited my parents over to join us because they have no kitchen right now. But DJ was fine with that. It was a nice evening. Although I am going to spend the morning washing the dishes. I don't like that part.
Tomorrow is Sue's baby shower here so I need to get my house really clean and de-germed. I am thinking about buying a little can of paint for my bathroom. It needs lots and lots of help being cute.
We'll see. Maybe if I am lucky my tax return will come today and I can get my camera...
I am just really happy right now!

Happy Valentines Day!

This is one of my favorite days! It really reminds me now of DJ and my beginning. He had me over for homemade lasagna and salad. He gave me the corrs CD which I was really into at the moment. He also told me he loved me. The next week (right before rodeo break for all you Tucsonians) He and I decided to get married.
I also have to say Pink is my favorite color and I love red too. Plus hearts hearts hearts!! I am such a girl! After I clean house I am heading to the mall and hoping to get DJ some chocolate from see's his favorite. He already bought and gave me 2 soy bean candles! my favorite. I was happy to say he got me the perfect gift! I am very very happy. Maybe I'll make pasta for dinner tonight. Hmmm I am excited to celebrate today. The only thing that makes me sad is that Lucas doesn't get to go to his Valentines Day party at pre school. But I'll do come art projects with them today and yea... since he is sick and I want him to rest he'll be watching all the Valentines Day special cartoons on Nic Jr. lol go deigo go!!

bummer

well Lucas woke up every 2 hours last night with a fever and a headache. He won't eat anything so he has a tummy ache. But I bought him some naked juice and he is drinking that. We'll see if that helps. He is also complaining about his ear. But I don't believe in penicillin and I think that these things should try to heal themselves. You know a strengthen the immune system as much as possible and only go for serious drugs when necessary. I don't want my kids to build an immunity to super drugs.
Anyway so we'll see what happens I may call the doctor tomorrow and try to get him in by friday, so if I have to get drugs I am prepared and I won't have to go to the urgent care.
The sad thing is Lucas has a valentines day party Thursday at preschool and he won't be able to go. I am sad for him but he doesn't know and he'll have plenty of parties in his life I am sure of it.
DJ is amazing! He has been helping with my Mom's kitchen remodel and it is looking great! However, he is a little behind with work and school now. I think he's going to have a late night tonight. At least he works from home.

aghhhh crap

Lucas is sickish now. The kids both have runny noses. It's just a matter of time before they become really disgusting. However, they are getting some good rest "watching movies" and I am almost done ready Emma!

another day another week

So it is Monday. We've been enjoying nice weather here in Tucson.
My Mom is remodeling her kitchen so we've well DJ has been spending a lot of time over there. I think he's enjoyed it. He was playing sidekick to Daren (the guy doing the kitchen) Saturday. I know he knows what he is doing but, working with Daren has helped his confidence in it. He is such a handy Manny!
We stayed home from church yesterday. It seems that there is a lot of germs going around. Eden has had an on and off fever since Thursday, No fever yesterday! So I think we are doing good.
This week we are getting ready for Suzanne's baby shower on Saturday. Dave and Tammy are coming Friday night. We are also hoping to hit up the gem show sometime this weekend. Good Times!
All and all I am actually looking forward to this week. Valentines day is the day DJ first told me he loved me! The a week later told me he wanted to marry me. I love Valentines day!!!
