Good morning Eden!

This morning I made 8 grain cereal (it is a hot cereal like oatmeal) Eden woke up and came in the kitchen. I made her some in a little bowl and gave her a taste.
I asked her "do you like it?"
she said" yes it's comfy"
she kills me!!

Lucas' 1st talk!

Lucas gave his first talk in primary yesterday.He talked about the "striptures" as he would say it. He was very cute and did most of it himself. DJ sat with him and helped him with his talk. However when primary came DJ couldn't get out of YM's and see Lucas do his talk. so sad. But Grandma and Grandpa Anderson ditched relief society and priesthood to watch him. Then they disappeared ...yeah they went home. Anyway, Lucas shared his favorite stories Noah's ark and Samuel the Lamenite.
He makes me such a proud mama. He did such a good job. We worry about his silliness but that was no problem once he gets to the stand.Shockingly
anyway that's my boy! again

here we go agian,,,

so tuesdays and thursdays lucas has preschool. last thursday he got hurt running and tripping into the wall. So we had to talk about listening all weekend. However last tuesday I picked him up Joe his teacher called me in to talk. Crap I am thinking, then he broke the news Lucas dropped trow and peed in the sand in the play area. His teacher has never seen a kid do that before in all the years he has worked with kids. LOL how many years could he have spent with 4 yr old boys. BTW he looks like he is maybe 21. oh funny. So we have been discussing peeing in the potty. This is not the first time for Lucas BTW. He enjoys peeing on trees and well. On day he pooped in the backyard sand. I was just happy I didn't have to hose off his drawers!
anyway that's my boy and he has preschool today... I wonder what he'll do today.

My Boy

OK I love Lucas I need to write all his funny stories but I wonder if they would translate into good writing. But here is a little sample...
He played basketball with my brother Corey Saturday. Sunday he was walking around the house with a basketball. He would go into the kitchen and dribble the ball. Okay dribble once then it would bounce away.
I asked him what he was doing and he stated...
"I'm practicing my skills"
I don't know where he came from.
Church yesterday was also pretty entertaining. We have church from 2:30-5:30 yeah...
anyway during sharing time the teacher was teaching the creation. All of a sudden I hear Lucas
"I want to go home"
I couldn't agree more. lol
He has also become a photographer. He took my sister's camera on Saturday. We were looking at a walrus skull and Lucas began taking pictures of it. Inside it's mouth, nose... The made my sister pose then added in Sue. " OK, ok you need to do this" he would tell them. Then he said "that's enough."

I pulled the evil goaly

Yea I know I have been on the pill for 2 years now. My insurance just recently stoped covering the pill I have been on. A nice low hormone. So I have been experimenting the last couple months with no success and have decided to give it up. I can't do it to myself anymore. I get a little nutty. Way too emotional and irritated. So I am done! No babies in the plan yet though... maybe in a few months. If I can lose that 30 lbs first lol

Movin Along

So here we are. DJ's arm seems to be doing well. No surgery needed so he's pretty happy about that. He's working hard on his school work. So far he's gotten A's on all his papers. He is keeping busy working, although it takes him a long time to type he is working hard.
Lucas is crazy. He has discovered the wonderful world of leap frog video games. He loves to play when he is allowed. But he is mainly on adventures. He loves to play with his rope where he ropes his alligator and wraps it up. His animals and dinosaurs. He loves animal planet and the science channel (he watches that with Daddy). He is in preschool 2 days a weeks and loves it. He is a good boy and makes me laugh. He has a very silly boy.
Eden is miss 2year old bossy pants. She has discovered a strawberry shortcake book which I have to read her ever night. However, we have finally established a bed time with her!!! YES! So finally we have a quiet evening! IT is my great accomplishment this year. She constantly having tea parties and rocking her babies. She is 100%girl with an attitude.
I am enjoying my house and am trying to establish a clean working environment. I am trying to discover not only how to feed my kids good food but how to get Lucas to eat period. Although he does love enchiladas, bananas, and apples. he's weird. I am starting to walk again. I am hoping to start a home based exersize regiment and cancel the gym membership that I never get to use.
We are looking forward to a productive year. And hope to come to Ventura soon. We miss it and our friends so much!!

DJ the slick

So my darling has entered into my super slick category. DJ is really busy right now. He has officially started his own business. DJ's Appraisals. He is finally doing what he has been trying to do for our entire marriage! Hooray! He has also signed up for classes at University of Phoenix. He is getting his Business finance degree so he'll be swamped for the next 22 months. DJ is also playing soccer and serving in the YM's.
However, here it is Friday during his soccer game he was playing goaly and somehow collided with another player and broke his right collar bone. Yup. broke in 2 pieces. Lucky he's on a team with surgeons' emergency room doctors, and nurses. So they called to UMC and fast tracked him through the emergency room. So not only have I the pleasure of taking care of the 2 kids but DJ has been demoted to dependent. It's pretty awesome.
Well, I love him anyway and he should be better in the next 6-8 weeks. His report writing and homework will be a little slower then normal but at least he's still able to work. Well that's it in his world. so peace out and happy new year!
