crazy life!

I am not sure what I have been doing in the last week but I know I have sat down to post a couple times and got dragged away into my responsibilities LAME! But I am still here.
We have been enjoying the new baby a lot. DJ and Eden finally got to meet him on Saturday. Eden is such a little Mommy. She help him 15 min till I took him away. Oh and we have decided to get a pet. So we spent most of the week looking for one. We have also decided to wait till it is kitten season. I really want a kitten. I will post some pictures of our last week.
Today we went to Vanessa's and played with Christopher and Kaylee. We went to the park then went to Corey and Sue's to see Sue and Jason. To much fun!
We also went to the desert to see the flowers that are blooming right now because of the great winter rain we have received. There is nothing like getting some nature time!

Wonderful Wednesday

Today is going to be a fun day! Tammy and some of the kids are coming down today. Tammy is heading to Corey's house to hold the new baby. I am getting who ever comes down. So we should have a fun day playing with the cousins!
well, time for breakfast and the library!

busy day

Monday was a busy day. I spent the afternoon with Corey. We went to target, then got a changing table from my friend Vanessa, had lunch a then went to his house I I tried to set some stuff up for Sue and the baby. They come home today!
I then went to the hospital and got to hold the baby for an hour!

I loved holding him. Corey is the brother I am closet to. He is closest in age to me. We shared a room as kids. He was was the one who teased me most. I fought with most. But the one I hung out with most.
When I didn't make Celebration choir my sophomore year (I was bumped up in the summer) I saw Corey and started to cry and he gave me a hug. At school in front of people! Whe a boy in 6th grade was picking on me. He comfronted him at lunch time. He left me alone after that. When a boy made an inapropriate comment about me in high school inf ront of him. He punched him in the face. The boy didn't know Corey was my brother.
I have had 2 children and am a little more comfortable with babies now then I was 5 yrs ago. I know how it feels to be given this baby that you are in charge of. Not knowing how you are going to do it. I am thrilled that I have Corey and Sue so close. I would have been sad if I was still in California and missed this opportunity to spend time with them and to try to help them out.
This is a happy time in our family. I am glad to have a little part in it, even if it is only holding the baby while Sue gets a shower. I am happy to oblige!

New Baby!!

Corey and Sue and there baby this morning!! I am so excited! I have a new baby without any of the work! He is really cute and tiny 7lbs 5 oz and 19in long. He is sweet and I can't wait to spend more time with him. Corey and Sue are going to be great parents and I hope now Sue can finally get better, She's been sick for a month!

OH much to Lucas' disappointment they did not name him Cody Maverick. His name is Jason James Anderson. Too Cute!

Sleepover

We have had a busy weekend!! Lucas had a sleepover with his friend Christopher Thursday night. They had a great time. They played trains, marble game, ate spaghetti, took a bath, and watched a movie with popcorn. They both were fast asleep by 8:15! It was great. The only casualty was Eden's lip which got smacked by Lucas taking a movie from her. She isn't as innocent as she sounds. I told Lucas to get the movie so she ran to get it first.
Anyway they had fun and were really cute.
