On Friday night Lucas wondered out from his bedroom. Instead of going to the bathroom across the hall he wonders in the dark to our room to our bathroom. DJ got up and turned the light on. He freaked out about the light. When he turned it off Lucas tripped over a bad of foot stuff. (I was cleaning my feet before bed) Then slammed his right eye into our sink.
Then the screaming began . DJ brought him to our bed to check out the damage. His tears were pink so we new there was a little blood somewhere,. But he refused to open his eyes. They hurt to bad. I was worried...really worried. After a few minutes I called my parents. Amazingly my Dad was awake at 12:30 pm watching a ball game he had recorded. They came over and DJ gave Lucas a blessing.
The next day his eye was a little puffy. Today you can't even tell anything happened. I along with everyone who saw him, thought he would for sure have a black eye at least.
I am thankful today for priesthood blessings. That my husband has the priesthood and is worthy to use it. That my Father lives down the street and has oil, because DJ didn't have any more. To have the peace in our home and the spirit in our hearts. This was a testimony to me. I wanted to share.
