friday mornin

So I have had a good week. I managed to clean the kids rooms, my room, and frankly the whole house. Not only that but it has been clean all week! Including the laundry. I thought in doing this I would be able to do something today. Alas the girl is sick. She got a fever yesterday evening and now I am sentenced to a full day in mi casa. Oh well. Dishes always have to be done and I guess I can take step 2 in getting my house really really clean.
I have to admit it is kind of nice knowing I have a day just to be home and not entertain or be entertained. Well. I still have Lucas. That boy gets bored and needs a lot of stimulation. I hope his collection of animals will serve him today. He has enough toys to keep anyone entertained for days!
Well I guess a shower would do me good today. Maybe I'll even get to read more than one chapter of Emma today! This could be a good day after all!

Update on being drug free!

I have been free from the hormone altering drugs I have been on the the past 2 year, for a couple weeks now. It is amazing the changes I have gone through.
1. I am not crazy anymore... well back to normal crazy.
2. I have more control over my emotions.
3. I am happy again
4. I enjoy my children more
5. Patience ...I've been lacking but it seems to be making a comeback!
6. When I look in the mirror I recognize that person... she needs to go to the gym!

there are more but I will stop there. It seems as if a vail has been lifted from my eyes and a weight off my shoulder. I am happy again. Who knew a little blue pill could screw you up so much!

So okay beside my bitter disappointment and dislike for Huckabee and Jon Paul. The there is Mc Cain ughhhh. Okay anyway we have a great day planned. We have play day today. We are heading to the park to play with our friends and blow bubbles. Lucas grabbed his basketball and asked if he could bring it. "I want to show everybody my moves."

Good morning Eden!

This morning I made 8 grain cereal (it is a hot cereal like oatmeal) Eden woke up and came in the kitchen. I made her some in a little bowl and gave her a taste.
I asked her "do you like it?"
she said" yes it's comfy"
she kills me!!

Lucas' 1st talk!

Lucas gave his first talk in primary yesterday.He talked about the "striptures" as he would say it. He was very cute and did most of it himself. DJ sat with him and helped him with his talk. However when primary came DJ couldn't get out of YM's and see Lucas do his talk. so sad. But Grandma and Grandpa Anderson ditched relief society and priesthood to watch him. Then they disappeared ...yeah they went home. Anyway, Lucas shared his favorite stories Noah's ark and Samuel the Lamenite.
He makes me such a proud mama. He did such a good job. We worry about his silliness but that was no problem once he gets to the stand.Shockingly
